Young Geodetic Solutions provides GPS-based hydrologic assessment and forecasting tools for water managers, utilities, and agencies.
Existing GPS stations move slightly up and down as water mass changes across a region. We use those measurements to provide an independent, storage-sensitive view of drought, recovery, snowpack and reservoir loading, groundwater decline, and basin-scale water-storage change.
Our products are designed to complement existing water-management information, including precipitation, snowpack, streamflow, reservoir levels, groundwater observations, and drought-monitoring tools.
